
The Division of the State Architect (DSA) has announced the 2025 Valuation Threshold for alterations in California. The 2025 Valuation Threshold is $203,611.00.
This number is used for Alterations, Structural Repairs or Additions to Existing Buildings for projects submitted after January 6th, 2025.
We have several blog posts on Valuation Threshold but as a reminder if your project falls under this limit than you must complete ADA upgrades equaling 20% of the projects budget. If your project is over the threshold, you must bring all path of travel into compliance.
